MAGDALENA - INSPIRING STORIES VOL. 6
Our volume 6 features Magdalena from southern Sweden. She lives in an old house with her husband and two children. I started following Magdalena on Instagram a few months ago and instantly fell in love with her peaceful and beautiful photos. Here is a small peek into her life of calm and gentleness.
Where do you live? How old are your children?
A couple of months ago we moved from Stockholm to the southern part of Sweden. Our new house is located a few minutes from the sea in a idyllic old fishing village. We love living here. Our house is about 100 years old and my husband renovates it in a calm way.
Here I'm Magdalena living with my husband Max and our two children Leopold 5 years old and Ester Grace 3 years old. And our dog Daisy.
2. Do you work?
At the moment I am studying to become a teacher. I am also working with taking picture for children's clothing.
3. How do you relax?
I have practiced yoga for 10 years and it helps me to relax. I also find it relaxing to walk by the sea. And just be with my children.
4. Do you have any tips on coping with being tired?
To accept being tired. But also to be with people who give me energy.

6. Where do you shop clothes for you and your child?
During a period I was working in the clothes business so I still have a lot clothes from that time. So nowadays I do not shop that often to myself. 8. What is your secret to a good photo of your children?
I always try to see and capture photo based on a natural light and matching colors. And I let the children be in the mood for the day.
9. Why do you like S&B Kids?
Because your toys are funny to play with and educational. They are timeless and good for the environment.
When I see Ester Grace scroll along with your wooden duck I remember my own childhood. I had almost the same duck that I loved. I love timless toys that brings memories.
They are also a piece of art and brings beauty wherever they are placed.
